   Excuse, excuses – I can blow up text on my Mac as big as I need it to be to see it without glasses.

     For me, without glasses, everything beyond about twelve inches is a blur. And I can’t operate my Mac from twelve inches away, since that would mean craning my neck over the keyboard, and if I do that for more than a minute or two, it gives me such pain that I have to stop cold.
